Snuggle Bug Baby Company is an independently-owned and operated company in Portland, Oregon.

We’re a small group of professionals/parents who want the best for our kids.  And, believe others do too.  As modern parents, we saw first-hand how important baby blankets were to our own children and always wished we had higher-quality, more stylish options to choose from. Our philosophy is simple:

Designed with both kids and parents in mind.

Our focus is to create blankets that children will cherish and parents will love. Thus, we try to design each blanket to be as unique and colorful as a child’s personality. We want you to feel proud to receive one of our blankets as a gift or to give one to a friend or family member at your next baby shower.  The most gratifying aspect for us is to see a child with one of our blankets crashed out in a stroller somewhere and know we've made a product that is cherished.

Our baby blankets are hand-made in very small quantities. In fact, we never produce more than 100 blankets of any one style. So, we take great care in making your child’s blanket.  At the same time, you can feel good knowing that you won’t see every kid at the mall toting around the same one you own.

What's the story behind our brand?

Snuggle Bug Baby Company is a brand that's a blend of old and new, of timeless craftsmanship with modern design.  Our name is also inspired by the nicknames kids give their blankets.  From "blankie" to "blanks" to "snuggly" to "snugs", or any other wonderfully obscure name your child decides to give it, we hope you enjoy the one you choose.

Snuggle Bug Baby Company is led by Michelle Simpson, president and founder...and a mother of three adorable little buggers of her own.
